Beadle of this Hospital praying to be admitted Clerk of the
Chappel in the room of James male< no role > deceased And the Question
being put the said Robert Morgan< no role > was Elected Chappell Clerk .

This Court taking into Consideration the reduction of the
payment of the Incurables from 5/p Week to 2/6 p week
Ordered that such Reduction be continued from Midsummer neat
to Midsummer 1742.

The Petitions of the Candidates for the Portersman's place in
this Hospital in the room of John Brown< no role > lately made one of the
Beadles being read in Alphabeheal Order Vizt. John Elliot< no role > . Joseph

Whereupon The Right Worspll. the President declared the said
John Elliot< no role > to be duly Elected Portersman of the said Hospital
till the next Election dayAnd it is Ordered that upon his giving
such Security as is usual in the like Case and producing a Certificate
of his and his Wife Settlement, He the said John Elliot< no role > be admitted
Portersman of the said Hospital of Bridewell untill the next
Election day and that he have such Appartment as the Comittee
of this house shall think fit.
