Upon Reading the Several humble Petitions of John Gandell< no role > John Gurary< no role > and
James North< no role > for one of them to be Barber of the Hospital of Bethlem in the room of John
Wood
< no role > who is Elected Porter of the said HospitalAnd they being Severally put in
Nomination a great Majority of hands Appear'd to be for the said John Gandell< no role > This
Court Doth thereupon Declare the said John Gandell< no role > ElectedAnd it
is Ordered That he be accordingly Admitted to Show the Pa [..] in Bethlem Hospital
till the next Election day.

is too great Doth Order that no more Governors to Nominated for Six Months.

John Mason< no role > Apprentice to John Buraham< no role > One of the Artsmasters of
this Hospital was brought before this Court from the Block where he was Continued
by order of the last Court for being a dissolate Idle boy & given to Thieving And his
said Master Acquainting this Court that the said Boys Inclinations were so very
worked that he was not as all reformed by the Correction he had received by Order of
the Court 27th March last & that it wou'd to dangerous to Trust him in his House
It is Ordered he be Continued at the Block till further Order.

Richard Ekerman< no role > (who Served his Apprenticeship to Daniel Nipp< no role > one of
the Artsmasters of this Hospital) Petitioned this Court to be made free of this City But
Mr Treasurer Acquainting this Court that the said Ekerman is in the black book
Seventeen times for faults Comitted during the time of His Apprenticeship His
said Petition was Rejected.
