James Phillips< no role > and Mr. John Scuplchere< no role > or Governors of the Hospitals

BeadlesGratfor the Year
at Midsr 1724}


Upon reading the humble, Petitions of the four Beadles and Porters man
of this Hospital for their usual Gratuitys of Forty Shillings a peice in respect of the
half year ending at Midsumer last for that then Salarys are but small
It is Order'd that the Clerk of them Hospitals do give and pay only them Forty
shillings a peice to be allow'd her in the next Account

Bethlem Grat. for ½ Year
at Midsr. 1724}


Upon reading the humble Petition of the three Beadles or Basketman of
the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuity of Twenty shillings peice in respect
of the half year ending at Midsumer last for that then Salarys are but small
It is Order'd that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay into them Twenty
shillings upon to be allow'd him in his next Account

Order'd to be made free of this City

Apprenticeship in this Hospital is Set up for himself in the Trade of a Weaver and hath
the Character of a Petycoat and Sober man It is Order'd that the Steward of
this Hospital do give and pay unto the said William Royce< no role > Ten pounds not of Mr.
Locks Gift to be allowd him on his next Account
