Upon reading the humble Petition of James Waldo< no role > Hempdresser [..]
That in her [..] Hempdresser in this Hospital near 23 Years and has brought up several
Apprentices who are freedom of this City And that the Comittee of this House by their Report
bearing date the 27th day of March last Report to the Court Cold at this Hospital the
29th of the same month that he refused to take her Apprentices of Benjamin Crackenthorpe< no role >
take Hempdresser in this Hospital and that they were of Opinion that the Allwomen
made by the Hempdresser for the prisoners Laterm Vizt for a Man 4d & for women
and Boys 2d P Bicon was too small and that the same night to be Encreased Vizt.
for many man 6d & for many women boy or Girl 3d P Bicon And that he being then
Call'd into Court [..] dly refused to raise the price for the prisoners Labor and was
therefore Ordered to be Discharged this Hospital And that he is Sorry for his [..]
refused and humbly [..] pardon for the same and is in willing to take the said two
Apprentices and to Allow for the Labour of every man prisoner 6d. and for every
Woman boy or Girl 3d P Bicon And praying the Court will be pleased to forged
him her said officer and that he may be Continued an Artsmaster in this Hospital
upon the Conditions aforesaidIt is Ordered that the said James
Waldo to respected to his place of an Artsmaster in this Hospital
