to proceed in ye building now
appropriated to that use}

The Minutes of the Comittee for taking care of the Building Adjoyning to
Bethlem Hospital for harbouring Incurable Luntick Patients dated the 24th & 31st. of
July, the 14th. of August the 11th. the 14th. the 18th. & 25th of September & the 16th
of October were read and Confirm'd And It is thereupon Ordered by this
Court that the said Comittee be desired to proceed in Carrying on the Building which
they have began And the same is hereby Appointed and Appropriated for the benefit
of such Lunatick Patients as are or shall be harbour'd in the said Hospital of
Bethlem and shall be found Incurable.

A Report from the Monthly Comittee at Bethlem Hospital dated the
2d. instant was read as follows ViztWhereas Richard Walton< no role > of the parish
of St. Botolph Aldgate London has been for several years a Patient in the Hospital &
notwithstanding the Utmost Endeavours have been used for his Recovery is still very Ma [..]
and Mischeivous and is without any Lucid Intervals and in the Opinion of this Comittee as
well as of the Physitian of this Hospital is Incurable And as his Enlargement would be
Dangerous and he has no friends who are able to bear the Expences of keeping him under
Confinement and is therefore a proper Object of the Charity lately given to the Governors of
this Hospital for the use of the Incurable. Lunaticks This Comittee are of Opinion that
the said Richard Walton< no role > be Admitted as an Incurable Patient and that as soon as the
bills now building for Incurables are finished he be put into one of there Cells And
It is Ordered that this Opinion be Reported to the next CourtThis
Court Doth Confirm the said Report And It is Order'd That the said
Richard Walton< no role > be Admitted as an Incurable Patient and that as soon as the Cells
now building for Incurables are finished he be put into one of these Cells and that in the
mean time he be kept in Bethlem Hospital upon the Foundation of Incurables.

the County of Bucks has been for Several years a Patient in this Hospital and
notwithstanding The Utmost Endeavours have been used for his Recovery is till raving
Mad and mischeivous and has no Lucid Intervals and in the Opinion of this Comittee as
well as of the Physitian of this Hospitals Incurable And as his Enlargement wou'd be
Dangerous and he has no friends who are able to bear the Expences of keeping him under

Henry Gelding< no role > be Admitted as an Incurable Patient and that as soon as the Cotts
now building for Incurables are Finished he be put into one of these Cells And that in
the mean time he be kept in Bethlem Hospital upon the Foundation of Incurables.
