Upon reading a Letter from Capt. Samuel Hannett< no role > . one of the
Governor of these Hospitals . That Capt. Whitchand and he in Persuance of
Order of Court of the 20th July last had made Enquiry and found That William
Welby
< no role > who served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital is Set up for himself a
his Trade of a Weaver and has this Character of a diligent Sober man It is
Ordered that the Steward of this Hospital do give and pay unto the said
William Welby< no role > Ten pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allow'd him in his next Acct.

Mr. Henry Lewth< no role > one of the Governors of these Hospitals Reporting
to this Court. That in persuance of an order of Court of the 20th July last Mr
Feast and he had made Enquiry and found. That James Hall< no role > who Served his
Apprenticeship in this Hospital is Set up for himself in the Trade of a Pinmaker
and hath the Character of a diligent and Sober man It is Ordered That
the Steward of this Hospital do give and pay unto the said James Hall< no role > . Ten
Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be Allow'd him in his next Account.

Upon reading the humble petition of Theophilus Armit< no role > Woodmonger
setting forth that he holds by Lease from the Governors of this HospitalThe Grant
and Treatments next adjoyning on the East and North sides to the Yard in Bridewell
precinct wch is [..] holden by the New River Water Company from the said Governors
And that the said Company is Desineous to take same part of the said Ground to
Enlarge this yardAnd Praying that a Linsen may be Granted him to
Let part of the said Ground to the said New River Water Company It is
Ordered accordingly

Upon reading the humble petition of John Boulter< no role > formerly one of the
Artsmasters of this Hospital Setting forth that he has Lived in the said Hospital
and Precinct thereof above 41 years the most part of which him his Maintained a
great Family and brought up several Apprentices who are free of this City and that he
has Seffered great Losses by the great desay of Trade which has reduced him to a very
mean Condition and being near Sixty years of age and his sight very much decay'd
his is incapable of working at his Trade and has been above five years out of all near
of buness and has been oblig'd to sell his Goods and working Tools to support himself
and his Aged wife who is very LameAnd Praying That the Court would
he pleas'd to take his Depl [..] case into Consideration and grant him such relief us
they should think proper It is Ordered That it be referr'd to the Comittee of
this Rew to Consider of the said Petition and to Report to this Court their opinion thereon
