Upon reading the Several humble Petitions of Oliver
Acton Beresfore Baker< no role > Philip Bass< no role > John Buckler< no role > , Roger
Burrough
< no role > Benjamin Hossman< no role > Charles Lee< no role > . Joseph Stone< no role > and
John Tart< no role > for one of them to be Steward of Bridewell hospital
in the room of Walter Acton< no role > deced and they being Severally
put an nomination in Alphabetical order the Plurality of hands
were for the said Oliver Acton< no role > and Roger Burrough who being again
put in nomination the Majority planily appeared to be for the
Said Oliver Acton Whereupon It is Ordered that the
said Oliver Acton (giveing Security as usual) be admitted
Steward of this hospital untill the next Election day and
that he shall have receive and enjoy the Salary and profitts
thereunto belonging as the sd Walter Acton had and enjoyed the
same And also the rooms and Chambers wherein the said
Walter Acton lived And it is further Ordered that the Security
which ye said Oliver Acton proposed before the Comee of this
house Vizt.Edward Acton< no role > of Camberwell gentl and Mr John
Acton
< no role > of the Custome house gentl be accepted as Security for
the said Oliver Acton
