Upon reading a Report dated the 7th day of this Instant March
under the hands of Mr Depty. Beckley and Mr Edward Wastfelde< no role >
two of the Governours of these hospitals That in persuance of an
Order of Court of the 10th day of January Last they made enquiry and
field that Edward Shankes< no role > who Served his apprenticeship in this
hospital) is Sett up for himselfe in the Trade of a weaver and hath
the Character of a diligent Sober man. It is Ordered that the
Clerke of this hospital do give and pay unto the said Edward Shankes
Ten pounds out of Mr Locks Gift

Governr Elected

Upon reading a Report from the Comee of this house dated the 18th day of
March instant Setting forth That in pursuance of an Order of Court
of the 14th. day of February Last This Comee haveing considered
of the Several Gentlemen following who were nominated to be
Governor s of These hospitals It is the Opinion of this Comee
that they are very proper persons to be Governor if the Court Shall
think fell vizt
