Upon reading a Report from the Comee of this house under the

< no role > Mr Richard Rawlinson< no role > , Mr Thomas Preston< no role > Lawrence Parker< no role > Esqr
Mr John Elderton< no role > . Mr Depty Jno Everett< no role > , Mr Henry Marshall< no role > and Mr
Depty Geo: Ludlam< no role > bearing date the 10th. day of Octor. instant in the words
followingThis Comee in pursuance of an Order of Court of ye 22d
day of March last have examined into ye Salary of ye Reader of this
Hospital and defind ye same to be Thirty pounds P Annm for Reading
prayers on Sundays and act of Parliament Holydays and Keeping School
every day for the Apprentices And This Comee are of Opinion as
in their former Report That Prayers should be read by ye Reader in the
Chappel of this hospital on every Saints day and every Wednesday
and fryday precisely at Ten of the Clock in the forenoon And it is ye
Opinion of this Comee that an Addition of Twenty pounds P Annu
be made to ye Readers Salary for Reading prayers as aforesaid
This Court haveing duely weighed and considered the said Report doth
Confirm ye same & Order that prayers be read accordingly and that
the Reader have Twenty pounds P Annu added to his sd Salary

Ordered That it be Referred to ye Comee of this house to
examine into ye Salary of Roger Gothin< no role > ye Chappel Clerke of this
Hospital and to Report their Opinion to this Court whether it is
proper to make any and what addition thereto for his efficiating at
prayers on Wednesdays frydays and Saints days

Upon Reading the humble Petition of Elizabeth Arnall< no role > Widdow
Relict and Sole Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of Thomas
Arnall
< no role > her Late husband deced Setting forth that at a Court holden
at this Hospital the 23d June 1715. It was Ordered that a Lease
of a house Scituate on ye southside of Wapping Street belonging to
this Hospital should be made to Isaac Taylor< no role > In Trust for her
Said husband who was then at Sea and dyed before ye sd Lease was
