Upon Reading a Report from the Comee of this house under the
hands of John Taylor< no role > Esqr . Trear Marmaduke Alington< no role > Esqr .
Mr Thomas Preston< no role > , Capt . Edward Hammond< no role > and Mr Samuel Stanton< no role >
bearing date the 31st day of Octor. Last as followeth ViztJoseph
Eyles
< no role > Esqr . proposed to give Twelve pounds P Annum Rent, a
Fyne of Sixty pounds and to Lay out Two hundred and fifty pounds
in Building, whereof at Least Two hundred pounds Shall be laid out
in Building One Brick Messuage after the Second Rate of Building
fronting the Street and to Sett back 12 foot from the front of the old
Building for a Lease of 60 years of the ground and premisses
Late in the possion ofMiller mold Bethlem to
Comence from Xmas next This Comee are of Opinion to accept
the said Proposal which nevertheless is Submitted to the Judgment
of the Court This Court haveing duely weighed and considered
the said Report doth Confirme the same

< no role > and Mr Samuel Stanton< no role > bearing date the 31st. day of
Octor Last as followeth viztIn persuance of an Order of the
Last Court This Comee have examined into ye Allegations of
the Petition of Phillip Gill to be an artsmar and have inquired
into his Character and do find that the Allegations of his petition
are true and that he has ye Character of a Sober Industrious man
And This Comee are of Opinion that he is a proper person
to be Chosen an artsmar of this hospital if ye Court shall that
fitt which nevertheless is submitted to ye Judgment of ye Court

Upon reading the several humble Petitions of Phillip Gill< no role > &
John Phillips< no role > Cittizens and broadweavers of London And upon the
humble application of Thomas Serjeant< no role > Read Silk weaver (whose
Petition was mislayd) for one of them to be admitted an artsmar
of the said hospital they were Severally putt in nomination and
the Plurality of hands appeared for Phillips Gill Whereupon
