Plurallity of hands were for the sd Joseph Dawson< no role > Whereupon
a Poll being demanded betweene the sd Joseph Dawson< no role > and the sd
Richd Reynolds< no role > the same was granted and It was desired that
such of the sd Governors as were for the sd Richd Reynolds should
with draw, and such as were for the sd Joseph Dawson< no role > should
continue in the Court wh being done Mr Trear was desired to
tell betweene them who haveing told accordingly did declare
that the Number for the sd Joseph Dawson< no role > was 31 and the
Number for the sd Reynolds was 22 whereupon It is Ordered
by this Court that the sd Joseph Dawson< no role > upon his giveing good
security to be approved of by Mr Trear as above be admitted
youngest Beadle of this Court untill further Order and that he
shall from Christman day next have receive and take the
sallary and profitts there to belonging as the sd Thos Martin did
and also the roomes and Chambers wherein the sd Thos Martin
did dwell from and after Midsomer day next.
