Upon Reading to this Court the Report of the Generall
Comittee of Bridewell under the hands of Mr Trear Mr
Lambert Mr Forbes Mr. Depty Moore Mr Wheeler Mr
Halse Mr Ludlam Major Hulls and Mr Tudman Which
Report is in these words following vizt.

This Comittee being mett pursuant to a standing order of
this Court whereby It was perticularly Referred to them to consider of Mr
Hoyles proposalls And to accept of the same upon such termes
as should be most beneficiall to the Interest of this Hospll.
with respect to the said Mr Hoyles case And It appearing that
there is now due and oweing to the said Hospll for the rent of
the houses in his possession the sume of £33 and the said Mr
Hoyle Insisting to have the sume of £24 abated out of the sd
arreare of £33 This Comittee upon matyre consider acon
Reading the said Mr Hoyles Case for the reasons therein Contend
are of opinion That the said sume of £24 be abated unto the sd
Mr Hoyle upon his giveing security to pay his rent for the
future Or is default of payment of the same to quitt the
possession of the houses and Surrender his Lease to the said
Hospitall and that the said Mr Hoyles Bond be accepted for
performance thereof

And this Court haveing duely weighed and considered the said
Report do Confirme the same And Order the sd Mr Hoyles bond to be
taken accordingly.

every night.


Also Upon Reading to this Court the Report of the Comtee
of the Hospll of Bridewell under the hands of Mr Trear Mr
Lambert Mr Forbes Mr Depty Moore Mr Wheeler Mr Halse
Mr Ludlam Major Hulls And Mr Tudman Which Report is in
there words or to the effect following vizt.

3d December 1702

This Comittee being Mett pursuant to an Order of the 9th day of
May last past whereby It was referred to them to consider what is
proper to be done in order to the Settleing a Watch in this Hospll and the
charge thereof Are of Opinion that a Watch house be provided and
that the same be made out of Mr Waldos shop And that the Beadles
Porters Man do watch every night from 11 o clock to 6 o clock in the morning in them severall turns and have one
shillings P night each man for their paines And do begin at Xmas
next and that they go round the house once in every hour:

This Court haveing duely weighed and considered the said Report
do confirme the same And Order that a watch house be made And that
the Beadles and Porters man do watch accordingly and that Mr
Trear do pay them one shills P night each to be allowed him in his
accounts
