& Which she believes to be true That he was born in Germany

to this Deponents knowledge or belief her Said husband never
rented a house of Ten Pounds a Year or ever served any Parish
office nor ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or ever
did any Act to gain a Settlement in Great Britain That she
this Deponent previous to her Said Marriage with her Said
husband was hired & lived as a hired servant
by the Year by
& with one Mr Jackson a Broker in
new Broad Street
Buildings
in ye Parish of St Botolph with Bishopsgate
London
& Continued in such service
for the Space of a year & half at certain Yearly Wages & by
means thereof gained a legal Settlement there That she this
Deponent has not Since lived as a hired servant for a year nor
done any Act to gain a subsequent settlement Save what she
Acquried by her Marriage in manner as aforesd. That she
was lawfully married to her Sd husband And that she hath
Three Children now living namely
