Sarah Hollindrake< no role > the Widow of Jones

< no role > decd. maketh Oath that she had a
Daughter named Eleanor< no role > , who died on or about
the Twenty fifth Day of June now last past
that her said Daughter for several years before
her Death cohabited with one Richard Hicks< no role >
lately decd. and had several Children by
him, who are all deceased but one, name
Sarah< no role > , that her said Daughter was delivered
of the said Child, on or about the Thirtieth
Day of June One Thousand Seven Hundred &
Ninety three in the Dwelling House of
Mr. Harris Nr 45 Water Lane in the Parish
of St. Ann Blackfriars in the City of
London , and that the said Child has Baptized
at St. Ann's Church , And this Deponent further
Saith that she was present at the Birth
of the said Child, & that she heard her
said Daughter say but a short time before
her Death that she never was Married
to the said Richard Hicks< no role > the Father of
the said Child, that being Poor & unable
to provide for the said Child she has
been obliged to apply to the Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate for her Relief & has been relieved
by them accordingly
