Mary Lemigne aged about 25 years in the workhouse saith she is the wife of Richard Lemigne (now also in the workhouse) and was married to him about six or seven months ago, that when she married him she was the widow of George Tooley (who died a year and a half ago) to whom she was married at the Hand and Pen in the Fleet near 11 years ago and hath one child by him to wit Mary aged between four and five years born in Browns Gardens in the Parish of St Giles in the Fields, that her said late husband was a Hackney Coachman and never was bound an apprentice to any business whatsoever nor ever kept any house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, that he hath informed her that he was born at the White Horse Inn in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields which house his father Francis Tooley kept for several years and from thence surrendered himself a prisoner in the King's Bench and died within the rules thereof, and never rented 10 pounds by the year after he left Long Acre, and that his mother died before his Father.
