Mention a Herriott due to the Manor of Grove on the<lb></lb>
Death of Mr: Pilcher: that when you demanded it of <lb></lb>
his Son: he told you the Estate was given, him by Deed<lb></lb>
above Four Years before, his Father died. If that be true<lb></lb>
he can have no objection to shew you that Deed which<lb></lb>
you have a right to see by your Lease. Therefore pleasure<lb></lb>
to desire him to produce it: which if he should refuse<lb></lb>
Let; him know that you have, orders to Seize for it</p>
<p n="1705">I shod: have mentiond this in my last when<lb></lb>
I gave you, notice of the Receipt of the Drafts but thoughts<lb></lb>
it best to Consult, Mr: Morse on the Affair first. And he<lb></lb>
orders you to Seize: on the above demand being refused:<lb></lb>
but if the Father did by deed give the Estate to his Son<lb></lb>
in his life time the Governors have no right to a Herriott</p>
