upon an Information Exhibited<lb></lb>
and Prosecuted by James Supplied charging that your Petitioner<lb></lb>
being Person using and excercising the Trade and business of a<lb></lb>
Pawn broker at Shorts Gardens in the said County on the second<lb></lb>
day of August now last past at Shorts Gardens aforesaid did take<lb></lb>
and receive of and from one <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50929_n53-2">Esther Dale</rs>

a certain Pledge to wit<lb></lb>
a pair of Earrings upon which did then and there and the sum of <lb></lb>
Two Shillings and that your Petitioner at the time of the taking<lb></lb>
the said Pledge did neglect and refuse to give to the said Esther<lb></lb>
Dale a Note a Note or Memorandum as directed by the Statute<lb></lb>
in such case made and provided and did receive and retain<lb></lb>
said Pledge without the said Esther Dale accepting or taking the<lb></lb>
said Note or Memorandum contrary to the form of the Statute<lb></lb>
in such case made and provided</p>
<p n="54">That your Petitioner conceives himself agrieved by such<lb></lb>
Conviction and is advised to appeal against the same</p>
<p n="55">Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays your<lb></lb>
worships will be pleased to permit him to enter<lb></lb>
his appeal so that the same may be heard at<lb></lb>
this present General Session of the Peace in and <lb></lb>
for the said County and that your worships will<lb></lb>
appoint a day for hearing and determining<lb></lb>
the same</p>
