WHEREAS it appears to us, whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set,<lb></lb>

Circumstances, that she the said Mary Plyers<lb></lb>
was, on or about the twenty seventh Day of November last<lb></lb>
delivered of a Female Bastard Child in the Workhouse of and in<lb></lb>
the said Parish, which is still living, and chargeable to the said<lb></lb>
Parish, and that one <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50909_n805-1">Robert Davis</rs>

who lately worked<lb></lb>
with Mr Snewin a Carpenter in the said Parish<lb></lb>
is the Father of the said <lb></lb>
female Bastard Child. And whereas it appeareth unto us upon Oath, that<lb></lb>

this our Order, pay, or cause to be paid, unto the present Churchwardens and<lb></lb>

of them, the Sum of Six Pounds Six Shillings<lb></lb>
of lawful Money of Great Britain, so much being by them already expended<lb></lb>
and laid out for, and towards the Charges arising by the said female Bastard<lb></lb>
Child, being born in the said Parish, and for other necessary Expences occasioned<lb></lb>
thereby; and that the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50909_n806-4">Robert Davis</rs>

be chargeable to the said Paris, pay, or cause to be paid, to the Churchwardens<lb></lb>
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish for the Time being, or to either of them,<lb></lb>
the Sum of three Shillings of like Money, for, and to-<lb></lb>
wards the maintaining, keeping, and Education of the said female Bastard Child.<lb></lb>
And we do hereby further order, that the said Mary Plyers shall<lb></lb>
nurse, keep, and take Care of the said female Bastard Child. Given under<lb></lb>
our Hands and Seals, this tenth Day of April<lb></lb>
in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety five</p>
