Esqr.</p>
<p n="5">Resolved That it appears to the Committee that it is<lb></lb>
abosolutely necessary that the Governor of the House of Correction<lb></lb>
should reside entirely in the Prison and that he be desired to do so as<lb></lb>
soon as possible and that this resolution be communicated to him<lb></lb>
immediately</p>
<p n="6">That it appears to the Committee that the House allotted<lb></lb>
for the Residence of the Governor is inconvenient and in many<lb></lb>
Respects improperly situated for that purpose that it has not sufficient<lb></lb>
or necessary Accommodations and that if it was commodiously<lb></lb>
situated it could not be made fit for his Habitation without<lb></lb>
incurring a very considerable Expence</p>
<p n="7">And it appearing to the Committee for many reasons that<lb></lb>
the Dwelling House of the Governor ought to adjoin the Outer<lb></lb>
Wall of the Prison they beg leave to recommend to the Court to takes<lb></lb>
such Measures as may be necessary for establishing him in<lb></lb>
that Situation and the Committee therather recommend this<lb></lb>
Alteration as they conceive some more proper and convenient<lb></lb>
Accomodations that the new Building is at present furnish<lb></lb>
with may be found necessary for the reception of Persons of<lb></lb>
better Rank who may Occasionally be Received into the Prison</p>
