notoriously profaned and neglected</del>
in violation of the Laws<del>desired</del>

In contempt of Order and Decency and to the great Scandal of<lb></lb>
the Christian Religion Now this Court taking the Premises<lb></lb>
into serious consideration<del>Lord</del>
in order to prevent and Punish all such<lb></lb>
Abuses Do hereby recommend it to this Majestys <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50879_occ435">Justices of the<lb></lb>
Peace</rs>

acting in and for this County strictly to put the Laws in force<lb></lb>
for the better observance of the Lords day commonly called Sunday<lb></lb>
and to do their Endeavours to put a Stop to the illegal and irreligious<lb></lb>
Practices before mentioned<lb></lb>
And it is<del>also</del>
Ordered by this Court that the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50879_occ436">High Constables</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50879_occ436" type="occupation" value="High Constables"></interp>
of the several<lb></lb>
divisions and Hundreds of this County as also the respective Petty<lb></lb>
Constables Headboroughs and other peace Officers within the same<lb></lb>
do carefully exert themselves to put in Execution the said Laws<lb></lb>

against such offenders and also that they take effectual care to prevent all Persons keeping Taverns<lb></lb>
Chocolate Houses, Coffee Houses or other publick Houses whatsoever<lb></lb>
from selling Wine, Chocolate Coffee All Beer or other Liquors or<lb></lb>
receiving or permitting Guests to be or remain in such their Houses<lb></lb>
in the time of divine Service on the Lords day, as they will answer<lb></lb>
the contrary at their Peril</p>
