Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty four the Lessees in the said Lease have declared<lb></lb>
themselves merely Trustees of the said premises nominated as such by a Meeting called the Six<lb></lb>
Weeks Meeting from its being a Meeting held every Six Weeks and which is composed of a Number <lb></lb>
of Persons chosen by the Six Several Meetings before mentioned for the purpose of directing the<lb></lb>
application of the Fund raised as before stated for the payment of the Rent Building and repairing<lb></lb>
of Meeting houses That by Indenture of Assignment of the Second day of April in the Year of<lb></lb>
our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Seven and made between the said David<lb></lb>

) and to be conveyed and disposed of as the said Society<lb></lb>
should direct by such Six Weeks Meeting That the Basement Story of the said Meeting house in the<lb></lb>
said Rate mentioned is divided into a Number of Small Rooms one of which is occupied by a Person<lb></lb>
called a Door keeper whose Business is to attend the Door when necessary and keep the said<lb></lb>
Meeting house clean for which service<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
he has a Small Yearly Salary<lb></lb>
That the remaining Apartments are either not occupied or appropriated to the use of Poor<lb></lb>
Persons maintained by the Donations of the People called Quakers That the said Meeting<lb></lb>
house is solely appropriated to Religious and Charitable Purposes That the Trustees who are the persons Rate do not<lb></lb>
receive any Rent for the same on the Contrary are subscribers to the Fund for Charitable Donations That none of<lb></lb>
the Benches in the said Meeting house are lett or any pecuniary or other Advantage made thereof That the<lb></lb>
Appellants were subscribers to and frequenters of the Meeting held in the said Meeting house and Warrant<lb></lb>
of Distress issued against them for payment of the above Rate.</p>
