was ordered to attend and being present upon<lb></lb>
his Examination said I am Task master in the Prison my<lb></lb>
Employment is to see the Oakum, picked, I take care of the Apprentice<lb></lb>
Cells. I remember the Boy who died in the Prison he was in a good<lb></lb>
state of Health when he came in I used to attend him daily he was<lb></lb>
there about fourteen or fifteen days. he complained of his feet being<lb></lb>
sore. When he made a Complaint I told Mr. Gibbs of it I believe it<lb></lb>
was about two days befoe he died the Night he complained to me<lb></lb>
I locked him up among other boys he had not complained of his<lb></lb>
feet till about two or three days before he died. he was taken up to the<lb></lb>
Sick Ward by Mr. Gibbs direction when he went in to the Sick Ward<lb></lb>
he was very bad indeed. The Boy died in the Night Mr. Gibbs had<lb></lb>
seen him before he went into the Sick Ward I Cant tell when Mr.<lb></lb>
Harwood was acquainted with the Boys state. I believe the Night<lb></lb>
before his Death. I was not examined by the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50777_occ539">Coroner</rs>

<p n="1628">Who says that the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50777_n1628-1">George Wind</rs>

was brought into the Sick<lb></lb>
Ward about five Clock of the 6th. Inst. in so weak a State that<lb></lb>
he was not able to Walk and therefore was obliged to be brought<lb></lb>
in on another Persons back that he had a piece of Bread clenched<lb></lb>
in his fist but was quite insensible and had no kind of<lb></lb>
nourishment while in the sick Ward till the Doctor came about<lb></lb>
8 or 9 o Clock when he gave him a Gill of Hot Wine but he was<lb></lb>
past relief and died the next Morning. On the next Morning<lb></lb>
the Coroner Sat on the Body and this Examinant further Faith</p>
