<p n="302">The Said Committee Report<lb></lb>
That in pursuance of the Order of reference to them<lb></lb>
made at the last Session of the peace holden for this County Vizt. "To<lb></lb>
"take into Consideration whether any and what allowance shall be<lb></lb>
"made to Mr. <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50736_n302-1">Henry Adams</rs>

the Contractor for Conveying Vagrants<lb></lb>
"in through and out of this County for his Extraordinary Trouble<lb></lb>
"and attendance in Receiving and Providing for Vagrants delivered to<lb></lb>
"his House in pursuance of a Resolution of the said Committee of the<lb></lb>
"10th day of November last and whether such vagrants shall continue<lb></lb>
"to be delivered to the said Mr. <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50736_n302-2">Henry Adams</rs>

"House of Correction as heretofore' They proceeded to Examine Mr.<lb></lb>
Adams by whom it appeared that since the Order of the Commee<lb></lb>
of the 10th. of November he had received and Provided for Eighty<lb></lb>
Nine Vagrants who would otherwise have been committed to the<lb></lb>
House of Correction at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50736_geo449">Clerkenwell</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50736_geo449" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
and that he had been obliged<lb></lb>
to employ an additional Servant to take care of the said Vagrants<lb></lb>
Your Committee are therefore of Opinion that Mr Adams<lb></lb>
is deserving of a Compensation for his Extraordinary Trouble and<lb></lb>
attendance in receiving and Providing for the Vagrants delivered<lb></lb>
at his House in pursuance of their Resolution of the 10th. of November<lb></lb>

That they proceeded to examine Mr Hall Governor of the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50736_geo450">House of<lb></lb>
Correction</rs>

as to the number of Prisoners in his Custody<lb></lb>
by whom it appeared that notwithstanding the number of Debtors<lb></lb>
were decreased there still remained many in Custody and your<lb></lb>
Committee imagining that the Prisons for the Reception of Debtors<lb></lb>
will be prepared in a short nine and that Mr Adams can<del>could</del>

Receive and Provide for the Vagrants till then without great<lb></lb>
inconvenience Your Committee are of Opinion that <lb></lb>
