of your Petitioners having made use of a Carriage with Two Wheels without<lb></lb>
having made Entry of or paid Duty for the same contrary to the Form of the<lb></lb>
Statutes in such case the said Two Justices on the Eighteenth Day of the said<lb></lb>
November took upon themselves to Convict your Petitioner of the pretended<lb></lb>
Fact or Offence mentioned in the said Information and adjudged that your<lb></lb>
Petitioner had forfeited the Sum of Twenty Pounds and by Warrant bearing<lb></lb>
Date the said Eighteenth Day of November under their Hands and Seals<lb></lb>

of your Petitioner to Levy the Sum of Twenty Pounds therein alledged to have<lb></lb>

<p n="453">That on the Nineteenth Day of November last your Petitioners Goods<lb></lb>
were Seized and on the Twenty Fifth Day of the said November sold to satisfy<lb></lb>
the said Penalty of Twenty Pounds pretended to have been Incurred by your<lb></lb>
Petitioner and such pretended Penalty was by virtue of such Warrant actually<lb></lb>
Levied and Received by the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50637_n453-1">John Abbot</rs>

and Judgment passed upon or against your Petitioner by the said Two Justices<lb></lb>
and the said Warrant of Distress and the Sale of your Petitioners Goods and the<lb></lb>
Levying the said pretended Penalty by virtue of the said Warrant</p>
<p n="455">Your Petitioner therefore meet humbly appeals to your<lb></lb>
Worships against the aforesaid Conviction and Judgment and prays<lb></lb>
that your Worships will be pleased to appoint some Day in the<lb></lb>
present Session to hear this your Petitioners Appeal and to<lb></lb>
Order that all Partys concerned may then and there attend hear<lb></lb>
and abide by the Judgment and Determination of your Worships<lb></lb>
in and concerning the Premisses And that your Petitioner may<lb></lb>
be therein relieved</p>
