day of April last been delivered of a Female Bastard Child at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50553_geo132">Uxbridge</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50553_geo132" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
in the said County.<lb></lb>
Baptized by the name of <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50553_n92-5">Anne</rs>

which was become chargeable to the said Town and that the said<lb></lb>
two Justices had Adjudged the Petitioner to be the reputed Father thereof. And therefore Ordered<lb></lb>
for the relief of the said Town and Maintenance of the said Bastard Child that the Petitioner<lb></lb>
should on Notice thereof pay to the Chapel Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Town<lb></lb>
of Uxbridge the Sum of Two pounds and Nine shillings for and towards the Maintenance<lb></lb>
of the said Female Bastard Child to the time of making the said Order and also to pay the<lb></lb>
Sum of One Shilling and Sixpence weekly from that time for and towards the Maintenance<lb></lb>
and Relief of the said Bastard Child so long as the said Bastard Child should be chargeable<lb></lb>
to the said Town of Uxbridge Whereby the Petitioner thought himself Aggrieved by the said<lb></lb>
Order and thereby praying that the said Order of Adjudication of the said Justices might<lb></lb>
be Quashed and the Petitioner discharged there from New upon hearing of Council on<lb></lb>
behalf of the Petitioner And by consent of Council on behalf of the Chapel Wardens and<lb></lb>
Overseers of the Town of Uxbridge. It is Ordered that the said Petition be and the same<lb></lb>
is hereby Allowed And the said Ordred of Adjudication of the said two Justices<lb></lb>
be and the same is hereby Quashed accordingly</p>
