of Acton</rs>

in this County setting forth that the said Highways are so<lb></lb>
much out of repair that tho' the Inhabitants of the said parish<lb></lb>
have already done the greatest part of their Duty thereupon yet so<lb></lb>
much thereof still remains to be Amended as can't be compleated<lb></lb>
without the Assitance of a Rate and that the said Inhabitants being<lb></lb>
fully satisfied there of have desired the petitioners to apply to this<lb></lb>
Court for a rate of three pence in the pound on the several Owners<lb></lb>
and Occupiers of Houses Lands Etc for that purpose as by a true<lb></lb>
Copy of an order of vestry annexed to the said petition more fully<lb></lb>
appeared and therefore praying by the said petition that an Order<lb></lb>
may be granted for the said Inhabitants or such of them as are ususally<lb></lb>
present at the making of Rates or Taxes within the same parish<lb></lb>
to meet together and make such rate or assessment as abovementioned<lb></lb>
pursuant to the Statute in that behalf. This Court being fully<lb></lb>
satisfied of the Truth of the premisses & that the Highways of the St. <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50510_geo423">Parish of acton</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50510_geo423" type="placeName" value="Parish of acton"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50510_geo423" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
cannot otherwise be sufficiently repaired and that it is necessary that such<lb></lb>
Rate as a aforesaid should be made forthwith Doth hereby Order<lb></lb>
that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor and such other<lb></lb>
Inhabitants as are usually present at the making of Rates for<lb></lb>
the said parish do forthwith make a Rate or Assessment upon all<lb></lb>
and every the Inhabitants Owners and Occupiers of Lands Houses<lb></lb>
Tenements and Hereditaments or any personal Estate usually rateble to the poor within the said parish according<lb></lb>
to a Pound Rate not exceeding Three pence in the pound of the<lb></lb>
Yearly value of the said Lands Houses Tenements and Hereditaments or such personal Estate as aforesaid</p>
