angry with her, and Shanks Spoke loud end to be heard, & said Captn Looney<lb></lb>
be quiet, It is very very hard I cannot live quiet in my own House; Looney replyed in<lb></lb>
very reproachfull words & called Mrs Looney Where & Bitch a boundantly, Mrs Looney<lb></lb>
returned to the Kitchin to her Husband, Shanks soon followed & presently, called out for<lb></lb>
Help for he apprehended Looney wd. Kill his Wife, Depont. heard & went out of the<lb></lb>
Parlour into a Passage & with Shanks went into the Kitchin where he saw Looney make<lb></lb>
2 or 3 blows at his Wife with a Sugar hammer wch he had in his hard, but did not see<lb></lb>
Blood follows: with Deponts. Assistance Looney kept the Sugar hammer & then seized as<lb></lb>
Smal Chopper for flesh, & in making several Attempts he wounded his Wife ones on<lb></lb>
the Head, Depont. interposed & presented further mischief & soon after Looney went<lb></lb>
out of the House in a Fury, calling Wheres & Rogues, then this Depont. went quite away,<lb></lb>
About an hour after Depont. heard that Captn. Shanks was Shott; and haveing served<lb></lb>
him formerly did bear him Respect & returned to the House where he had been & found<lb></lb>
him - Shanks - dying, Since the Death of Shanks Depont: hath seen a large wound on<lb></lb>
his lett side & verily believes that He dyed of that wound. Henry. Hamer.</p>
