<p n="58">This most extraordinary and apparent<lb></lb>
growing Expence, induced the Sessions to<lb></lb>
appoint a Committee to consider from what<lb></lb>
Cause such great Expence arose, and also to<lb></lb>
consider and report some Method to ease the<lb></lb>
County in that Respect, which Committee<lb></lb>
made their Report on the 21st Day of April,<lb></lb>
1757, which produced an Order of Sessions<lb></lb>
dated the 14th of July, 1757. Containing<lb></lb>
a Contract for Conveying Vagrants from<lb></lb>
and through this County, and other Mat-<lb></lb>
ters relating to the Conduct of the Maje-<lb></lb>
strates of this County in that Respect, which<lb></lb>
Resolutions of this Sessions were received<lb></lb>
and adopted by the Majestrates of the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50463_geo51">City<lb></lb>
and Liberty of Westminster</rs>
