aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds <lb></lb>
committed in the same County.</p>

exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court at this<lb></lb>
present General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the County of Middx by<lb></lb>
adjournment on Tuesday the twenty second day of October instant Settingforth That by<lb></lb>
Indenture bearing date the fourteenth day of January which was in the Year of our Lord <lb></lb>
One thousand seven hundred and fifty two Maynard Wolsoncroft was bound Apprentice to <lb></lb>
the Petition for the Term of Sovereign to learn the Business of a <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50432_occ350">Hair Merchant</rs>

And<lb></lb>
that the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50432_n611-1">Maynard Wolsoncroft</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_n611-1" type="surname" value="Wolsoncroft"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_n611-1" type="gender" value="male"></interp>
during the time he continued with the Petitioner <lb></lb>
behaved himself in a very unbecoming and disrespectfull manner in greatly neglecting the <lb></lb>
Petitioners Business and refusing to obey his lawfull Commands and hath divers times <lb></lb>
absented himself from the Petitioners Service associating himself with loose idle and <lb></lb>
disorderly Persons about the Streets and in Lewd Houses sometimes touching away <lb></lb>
from such Service for a Week together and hath frequently declared that he would not <lb></lb>
live with the Petitioner And that on the fifteenth day of this instant October the said <lb></lb>
Maynard Wolsoncroft again ran away from the Petitioners Service and on the seventeenth <lb></lb>
day of the same Month was accidentally met with in the Street by the Petitioners other <lb></lb>
Apprentice <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50432_n611-7">Joseph Seagrey</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_n611-7" type="given" value="Joseph"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_n611-7" type="surname" value="Seagrey"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_n611-7" type="gender" value="male"></interp>
who telling the said Maynard Wolsoncroft of his extreme bad <lb></lb>
behavior the said Maynard declared that if the Petitioner dared to correct him he would <lb></lb>
set Fire to the Petitioners House and burn down the same and all that was in it<lb></lb>
whereupon the Petitioner obtained Warrant from a Magistrate upon which he was <lb></lb>
apprehended and sent to <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50432_geo800">Bridewell</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_geo800" type="placeName" value="Bridewell"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50432_geo800" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
And that the Petitioner from the repeated Misbehaviour <lb></lb>
of the said Maynard is assured he shall never be able to reap any Advantage from his<lb></lb>
Service nor shall be able to teach him his Trade and is apprehensive that he will do the <lb></lb>
Petitioner same very great Mischief in Case he shall be obliged to receive him again <lb></lb>
And the Petitioner therefore humbly prayed this Court to take the Promisses into<lb></lb>
Consideration and to vacate the said Indenture and to discharge him from the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50432_n611-4">Maynard<lb></lb>
Wolsoncroft</rs>

Whereupon it was by an Order made by the said Court on the said twenty second day <lb></lb>
of October instant Ordered that the said Maynard Wolsoncroft should have Notice <lb></lb>
of the said Petition and that he and all Persons concerned should attend this Court on <lb></lb>
this present Friday the twenty fifth day of October instant at ten of the Clock in the <lb></lb>
Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgement and Determination of this Court touching</p>
