by their Report in writing<del>dated this thirteenth day of<lb></lb>

Certifyed unto this Court that they met together<lb></lb>
at Hicks hall Tuesday the twenty first day of December last to<lb></lb>
consider of the matters referred to the<del>the Committee</del>
by an Order of Sessions of<lb></lb>
the Ninth day of September last touching what sum of money is fit<lb></lb>
& proper to be allowed to Mr. Charles Labelye in the said Order<lb></lb>
named the Engineer & Surveyor (who designed & conducted the<lb></lb>
new building of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50351_geo12">Brentford Bridge</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50351_geo12" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
in the said County) for his<lb></lb>
time trouble & expences in & about the same And that upon<lb></lb>
hearing the said Mr. Labelye (who was present before the said<lb></lb>
committee) alledging that he attended the Sessions and the<lb></lb>
Committee concerning the new building the said Bridge<lb></lb>
ever since may 1740, and bestowed much time, and was at<lb></lb>
great trouble in designing & conducting the new building<lb></lb>
of the same Bridge till it was finished in June 1742, and<lb></lb>
attended the works as aften as necessary, and that this travelling<lb></lb>
& other charges upon the occasion aforesaid have cost him<lb></lb>
upwards of thirty pounds And that the said Committee being<lb></lb>
satisfyed of the truth of the premisses and also that Mr. Labetyes<lb></lb>
trouble was very extraordinary in regard attended the<lb></lb>
works at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50351_geo13">Brentford Bridge</rs>

here a week at wast and that he had<lb></lb>
also made & prepared several plans & drafts for the new Bridge<lb></lb>
& the several parts thereof, and that he hath not reced for the<lb></lb>
said services any satisfaction on allowance whatsoever<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
<lb></lb>

of opinion that the said Mr. Labelye should be allowed for his charges &<lb></lb>
expences aforesaid the sum of £30. And that it is fite proper that<lb></lb>
the said Mr. Labelye should also be allowed as a Compensation<lb></lb>
& gratuity for his nine & trouble in designing & conducting the<lb></lb>
new building the said Bridge and for hrs said attendances over<lb></lb>
& above his said charges the bun ther sum of 120l. And that<lb></lb>
the committee her of opinion that the said allowance<lb></lb>
is reasonable, This Court upon reading the said Report and<lb></lb>
on consideration of the premises Doth differ with the said</p>
