Esquires being a Quorum of the Committee of Justices<lb></lb>
of the peace for the County of Middx to whom It was referred by an<lb></lb>
Order made at the last General Sessions to consider what rates & prices are<lb></lb>
reasonable & fit to be allowed for maintaining & passing of Rogues,<lb></lb>
Vagabonds or incorrigible Rogues pursuant to the late Act of Parliament<lb></lb>
in Such case made, and to consider of the difficultys which have arisen<lb></lb>
in & about putting the Said Act in execution, Have by their Report in<lb></lb>
writing Certifyed to this Court That they have taken into their<lb></lb>
consideration what rates & prices are reasonable to be allowed for the<lb></lb>
Service aforesaid, And are of opinion that the said rates & prices be the Same<lb></lb>
as are ascertained and mentioned in an Order made at the General<lb></lb>
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the Said County in the Mouth of<lb></lb>
July last, and do so continue until further Order of the Court of General<lb></lb>
Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for this County to the<lb></lb>
contrary, And that they are of opinion that Such rates & prices Shall<lb></lb>
not extend to such Rogues and Vagabonds as have or Shall be passed<lb></lb>
by the Keepers of the Houses of Correction in this County, But that it<lb></lb>
may be proper that the Court of Session Should appoint a Committee<lb></lb>
of Justices of the peace to inspect and examine after the end of every<lb></lb>
three Months the Accounts of the Keepers of the said Houses of<lb></lb>
Correction, of the charges which they have been at in passing and<lb></lb>
releiving Rogues & Vagabonds in pursuance of the Said Act and<lb></lb>
also the certificates & vouches of the Said Keepers, And to adjust what<lb></lb>
Sum of money ought to be paid to the Said Keepers for such<lb></lb>
charges, and what allowance may be proper to be made to the<lb></lb>
Said Keepers respectively for their trouble on account of the premisses,<lb></lb>
This Court upon reading the Said Report Doth direct that the rates &<lb></lb>
allowances for maintaining and passing of Rogues Vagabonds or<lb></lb>
incorrigible Rogues be the Same as are limited & appointed by the<lb></lb>
Said Order of General Quarter Sessions made in July last And do<lb></lb>
So continue until farther Order of the Court of General Quarter or<lb></lb>
General Sessions of the peace for this County to the countrary, And<lb></lb>
that a proper Order be made by this Court for that purpose, And as<lb></lb>
to so much of the said Report as doth concern the Keepers of the</p>
