petitioners are burthened with a very Numerous<lb></lb>
poor, for whose maintenance the annual<lb></lb>
Assessments have in some yeares amounted to three<lb></lb>
shillings in the pound, And that the Petitioners<lb></lb>
have lately erected a <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50291_geo118">workhouse</rs>

petitioners are not able by any contributions make<lb></lb>
among themselves to raise a sum sufficient to<lb></lb>
rebuild the said Church, although they have used<lb></lb>
their utmost endeavours so to do by getting a<lb></lb>
subscription amongst themselves for that purpose,<lb></lb>
but such subscription in case the whole money<lb></lb>
subscribed should be paid which is very uncertain <lb></lb>
will amount to no more than the sum of five hundred<lb></lb>
and twenty pounds or thereabouts, And that the Petitioners</p>
