called this Deponent a troublesome woman, And this<lb></lb>
Depont further saith that the prisoners in the said prison<lb></lb>
have not been allowed<obscured></obscured>
to drinck there for three or<lb></lb>
four months past, And this Depont hath seen and observed<lb></lb>
that sevall of the prisoners in the said prison have been<lb></lb>
Cruetly beaten and abused in the said prison by Mrs Gregory<lb></lb>
the housekeeper of the said prison & by the Whipper there<lb></lb>
and that she saw sevall other psons lately were refused<lb></lb>
to be admitted to carry victualls into the said prison to<lb></lb>
the prisoners there for their releife, And that she this Depont<lb></lb>
on Friday last in the evening saw three poore women<lb></lb>
Come out of the said prison who had been prisoners there for<lb></lb>
some time and that the said three poor women ap-<lb></lb>
peared to be very weak and meagre and were scarce able<lb></lb>
to goe and were almost starved with hunger and that the<lb></lb>
said poore women had been very much beaten & abused<lb></lb>
in the said prison as this Deponent verily beleives, their<lb></lb>
Armes and thighs being very much marked with black<lb></lb>
red and blew strokes</p>

years agoe or more she this Depont saw two or three poor Boys<lb></lb>

whoe appeared to be very mea<lb></lb>
-ger and weak and some of their Joes were rotted off with<lb></lb>
excessive cold & misery that they had undergone in the said<lb></lb>
prison & this Deponent saw one of the said poore boys imediate<lb></lb>
-ly brought back to the said prison in a wheelbarrow not being<lb></lb>
able to goe & this Deponent was informed that the said<lb></lb>
poore boy who was soe brought back dyed in the said prison<lb></lb>
in a day or two & that the sd other two boys were found dead<lb></lb>
the next day, one in an old house & the other upon a<lb></lb>
dunghill,</p>
