<p n="46">Whereas divers Laws and Statutes have been made for the preserving<lb></lb>
Trade to the Setled Shopkeepers in this Kingdom, who pay all Duties<lb></lb>

es, Taxes and Impositions whatsoever And Serve all Offices and<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
es, and pay very great Rents for the houses wherein they live<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
notwithstanding such Laws, abundance of Hawker<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
pay no taxes whatsoever, Nor does<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
selves, and Numbers<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
to Sale without Lycence, Wares and<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
zes in this County of Middx to the great decay and ruine<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
to the said Shopkeepers (which if not timely prevented) will<lb></lb>
be the Utter ruine of them their families and Trades in generall<lb></lb>
And which We conceive is against the said Law's and Statutes<lb></lb>
hereto fore made</p>
<p n="47">On Consideration of the decay of Trade as aforesaid &<lb></lb>
the danger and ruining of Shopkeepers in generall</p>
<p n="48">We do prsent the said Petty Chapmen and Pedlers who<lb></lb>
sell or expose to Sale without Lycence, Any Wares or<lb></lb>
Merchandizes within this County, to be within the Statute<lb></lb>
of the 8th: & 9th: of King William And request this Honoble<lb></lb>
Bench will please to make an Order to restrain such<lb></lb>
persons from So doeing And also be pleased to put Such,<lb></lb>
Law's in Execution as in such Cases are made & provided.</p>
