at Hicks hall in St John Streete in the Sd County<lb></lb>

, Upon reading the humble peticon of<lb></lb>
the Sevrall Churchwardens & Inhabitants of Bow <lb></lb>
& Bromley in this County exhibited unto the Court<lb></lb>
thereby shewing that a new Watch house had been<lb></lb>
lately built us the great real be hee one Bow &<lb></lb>
Milend for the better Security of passengers <lb></lb>
from sheives and highwayman who used to<lb></lb>
Lurke in and about Bearbinder Lane & commit<lb></lb>
sevrall robberies in and weare the said road, and<lb></lb>
that the charge of a sufficient watch there would<lb></lb>
be soe great that the Petr: could not defray the<lb></lb>
same without further keepe and prayed that<lb></lb>
the Inhabitants of Milend might Contribute<lb></lb>
to the said Watch It was there fore thought fitt<lb></lb>
and ordered that it should be recommended and<lb></lb>
referred to the right Honble the Lord Lucas<lb></lb>
Governor of the Tower of London Mr. Foord <lb></lb>
Mr. Liysen Mr. Cass Mr. Bohun Mr. Constable <lb></lb>
and Mr. Keats Justices of the peace for this<lb></lb>
County Inhabiting in the Tower Division or <lb></lb>
such on soe many or them as should be & prsent at<lb></lb>
the next Petty sessions to be field in the said<lb></lb>
Division to Sumon the Curchwardens & Constables<lb></lb>
and some of the ancient Inhabitants of Bow<lb></lb>
& Bromley and the said hamlet of Milend before<lb></lb>
them and to consider of the said Peticon & make<lb></lb>
such order upon the said Inhabitants of Bow<lb></lb>
