The Informacon of Joseph Hicks< no role > of London Vintners
taken on the 14 of March 1689.

This Informt Scilt that upon or about the 5 of March Instant he
knownns philip Macguyer< no role > a prisoner now in Newgate to stand
indited for a rubbery & suspecting him to be guilty of a rubbery upon
Mr Lancasters a agon whereof this Informt. had notn from the sd
Mr Lancaster he this Informt. causere the said Macguyer to be sersd
at the George Tavern in Hanger fore market And George
Cranford
< no role > being then in company with the Sd Macguyer was sersed
also with him upon suspnon & the P Macguyer being Searcht the
cotch pdmed was found in his Shirt steeve And the Informt. showed
the Sd Watch to Severale watchmakers & one of them knowing the
maker thereofSeat the Informtbrought him this Informts house
who declared he had sold the Sd watch to one Mr Sutton & the Sd Sutton
[..] Sd he was robbed of it on
Lowslow heath & the Sd Sutten & thes Informt went to Copt Richardsons
& desire him to send for Macguyer& acqted him that th watch was
taken from Mr Sutton that was found upon Search of Macguyer & there
upon the Sd Capt sent for the Sd Macguyer & the Sd Mr Sutton charged him
with takeing the Sd watch from him

& to the Informt further sent [..] And more this Informt. Saith out
