Correction Sworn - I recollect Evans coming to<lb></lb>
the Prison, saw him the next Morning after he<lb></lb>
came in, in, the Kitchen about 11 or 12, o' Clock, I<lb></lb>
asked some of the Servants what he did there they<lb></lb>
said he was for the Lottery and he was not well<lb></lb>
I did not speak to him, about a Day or two afterwards<lb></lb>
he then complained of a violent pain in his Stomach<lb></lb>
put his hand to his Stomach and said he wanted<lb></lb>
to see the Doctor I said the Doctor would be here<lb></lb>
presently and you shall see him he said very well<lb></lb>
this was about two days after he had come into the<lb></lb>
Prison, he was moved from the Kitchen to the Infir-<lb></lb>
-mary from the complaints made to the Doctor nobody<lb></lb>
Order Prisoners into the Infirmary but the Doctor<lb></lb>
Aris never Orders any body into the Infirmary he<lb></lb>
has seen Mr.. Butcher there two or three or more<lb></lb>
times, I remember the Doctor coming into the Office<lb></lb>
and saying hang the Certificates I have more<lb></lb>
plague with them than enough, Dr.. Webb wrote the<lb></lb>
Certificate in the Office gave it to me and bid me<lb></lb>
give it to <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55611_occ982">Butcher</rs>

or any of Evan's Friends and<lb></lb>
I gave it to the Governor I saw him the 2d. day in<lb></lb>
the Kitchen he would not have been in the Kitchen<lb></lb>
if he had not been ill.</p>

Charge against Mr.. Aris the Governor of the House<lb></lb>
of Correction of shewing Indulgence and getting<lb></lb>
a Certificate for the Pardon and Discharge of<lb></lb>
