9. o' Clock in the Evening, I was upon Duty that<lb></lb>
Night, I received him, conducted him up Stairs<lb></lb>
to where he was to sleep he complained of being<lb></lb>
in a bad state of Health and mentioned the thinness<lb></lb>
of the covering and was afraid from his bad state<lb></lb>
of health of getting Cold, he asked me if I could<lb></lb>
accommodate him with some more covering I told<lb></lb>
him I could not get any more Blankets he<lb></lb>
pressed me to get him some further covering I<lb></lb>
then fetched him one of the Watch coats he was<lb></lb>
very thankful for it, I bid him good Night next<lb></lb>
Day I think I saw him in the Kitchen, he was<lb></lb>
in the Kitchen two or Three day's and then went<lb></lb>
into the Infirmary, <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55611_occ980">Butcher</rs>

in the Kitchen I really thought the Man was ill<lb></lb>

Complained that he was poorly, he was taken<lb></lb>
from there into the Sick Ward for the benefit of<lb></lb>
Medicine, cannot say how many Days he was<lb></lb>
in the Prison before he came into the Kitchen<lb></lb>
cannot speak at all to that do not recollect he had<lb></lb>
any Meat in the Kitchen, he had seen him Eat<lb></lb>
in the Kitchen but what he did Eat he did not<lb></lb>
know he never gave him any do not know of any<lb></lb>
Meat being brought him while he was in the<lb></lb>
Kitchen except the Sprats.</p>
