Raven after he had drank he withdrew but before<lb></lb>
he did withdraw the Governor told him he should<lb></lb>
have the Indulgence of the Kitchen which he had<lb></lb>
the next Day, before he was locked up in one of the<lb></lb>
Cells, he was not present at any other conversation<lb></lb>
Mr.. Butcher had been 6. or 8. times at the Prison to<lb></lb>
see him the only indulgence in the Kitchen was<lb></lb>
sitting by the Fire and staying up till 8. o' Clock in<lb></lb>
the Evening he saw Mr.. Butcher before he was<lb></lb>
removed from the Kitchen, to the Sick Ward Mr.. Aris<lb></lb>
told him that he must go into the Sick Ward and<lb></lb>
sham ill and put on a good many cloaths and<lb></lb>
wrap himself up and there was no doubt but<lb></lb>
that in a little time he Evans would get a Pardon<lb></lb>
and be got out he went up to the Sick Ward there<lb></lb>
he remained Mr.. Webb was so kind to bring him<lb></lb>
a Bottle of Wine while he was there previous to<lb></lb>
Mr.. Webbs bringing the Wine there was a Prisoner<lb></lb>
there of the Name of Fox a Fine for Two Years<lb></lb>
Convicted of Housebreaking Mr.. Webb cautioned him<lb></lb>
against any intimacy with him and so did Mr.. Aris<lb></lb>
likewise as he was a Man of Bad character Mr.. Webb<lb></lb>
told him there was a Dozen of Wine sent for him<lb></lb>
and that he could only bring him One Bottle at a<lb></lb>
time Mr.. Webb told him that if the Magistrates were<lb></lb>
to come he must be very careful and say in case they<lb></lb>
should ask him any Questions that he was very ill<lb></lb>
and that he had got the Flux he was as well as.</p>
