<p n="1825">Mr Rogers the County Surveyor having also laid before the Court<lb></lb>
his Report relative to the Survey made by him at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo1496">the Bridge</rs>

and the same having been read in the following Words Vizt.</p>
<p n="1826">"Survey of the Footway Bridge at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo1499">New Brentford</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo1499" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
Vizt.</p>
<p n="1827">"The Posts of the Railing where they insert into the Cill or main<lb></lb>
"beam are decay'd, the other parts of the framing decay'd & the whole Rail<lb></lb>
"loose & dangerous, the main Beam & Planking to the Stirlings in part<lb></lb>
"decay'd.</p>
<p n="1828">"The Water dripping from the Paving into the Mortices of the Posts<lb></lb>
"& on the main Beam is the principal cause of their decay.</p>
<p n="1829">"No permanent Repair can be made to the Railing, which shou'd<lb></lb>
"be new & if the Main Beam is not too much decay'd it may be supported<lb></lb>
"by a Truss; the Foot Paving to be taken up the Planking & Forst under Do<lb></lb>
"to be repair'd the current of Paving alter'd, relaid & made good the Planking to<lb></lb>
"the Stirlings to be repair'd</p>
<p n="1830">"Estimate for the above Works & Repairs Amounts to Sixty Pounds.<lb></lb>
"Survey'd 31st. May 1792"."Thos. Rogers."</p>
<p n="1831">And Mr Rogers having informed the Court that he had not had an<lb></lb>
opportunity of meeting Mr Clitherow at the time he Surveyed the said Bridge<lb></lb>
Mr Clitherow not being able to attend.</p>
<p n="1832">Ordered that the County Surveyor do wait upon Mr Clitherow on the<lb></lb>
Subject of the said Repairs and do lay before him a Copy of his Estimate of the<lb></lb>
proposed Repairs and report to the Court on the adjournment day of the present<lb></lb>
Session being the 14th. day of July Instant what assistance the Trustees of the<lb></lb>
Turnpike there will be willing to lend the County to execute the said Repairs in<lb></lb>
the manner pointed out by Mr. Rogers's Report.</p>
