<p n="1794">I have the honour to transmit to you by His Majestys <lb></lb>
Command, Six Copies of the said Proclamation, in order that you<lb></lb>
may take proper measures for carrying the same into effect; and for<lb></lb>
encouraging all Officers and Persons to exert themselves in their<lb></lb>
respective Stations, to Discover and bring to Justice the Authors of the<lb></lb>
Offences therein mentioned, and to preserve the public Tranquillity</p>

<p n="1799">Whereas divers wicked and seditious Writings have<lb></lb>
been printed, published, and industriously dispersed, tending to<lb></lb>
excite Tumult and Disorder by endeavouring to raise groundless<lb></lb>
Jealousies and Discontents in the minds of our faithful and<lb></lb>
Coving Subjects, respecting the Laws, and happy Constitution of<lb></lb>

, civil and religious, established in this Kingdom and<lb></lb>
endeavouring to vilify and bring into contempt the wise and wholesome<lb></lb>

strengthened and confirmed by subsequent Laws, for the preservation<lb></lb>
and security of the Rights and Liberties of our faithful and loving<lb></lb>
Subjects: And Whereas divers Writing have also been Printed<lb></lb>
Published and industriously dispersed, recommending the said wicked<lb></lb>
and seditious Publications to the Attention of all our faithful and loving<lb></lb>
Subjects: And Whereas we have also reason to believe that<lb></lb>
correspondences have been entered into with sundry Persons in foreign<lb></lb>
parts, with a view to forward the criminal and wicked purposes <lb></lb>
abovementioned: And Whereas the Wealth, Happiness and<lb></lb>
