Letter from the Society of People called Quakers Vizt. " Respected Friend<lb></lb>

. In order to explain with precision the intention of our<lb></lb>
" late Application to thee We take the Liberty of stating that the Society of the<lb></lb>
" People called Quakers in London not having yet determined on the suitable<lb></lb>
" Place for the Antient part of their Family would willingly retain the Old<lb></lb>
" House for a short time longer than their present Term which expires the 11th.<lb></lb>
" day of next Month, if it be agreeable to the Justices of the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55609_geo1130">County of Middlesex</rs>

" and the Receipt of the £1200 to remain as Tenants mutually to quit at 3<lb></lb>

will be acceptable." Resolved<lb></lb>
that the Consideration of this matter be postponed until the 7th. day of<lb></lb>
September next the adjournment day of this Session and that one or more of<lb></lb>
the said Society be requested to attend at that time</p>

<p n="1871">Mr. Chairman informed the Court that he had seen Mr Boodle the<lb></lb>
Agent of Lord <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55609_geo1132">Northampton</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55609_geo1132" type="placeName" value="Northampton"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55609_geo1132" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
relative to the Lease of the Ground in front<lb></lb>
of the Sessions house, and that Mr Boodle informed him that Lord Northampton<lb></lb>
being out of the Kingdom had prevented him getting the Lease executed but<lb></lb>
that he should shortly send some Deeds over to his Lordship and that he should<lb></lb>
send the Lease in question with others for the purpose of being executed by<lb></lb>
him - but that if it was necessary to do any thing to the Ground in the<lb></lb>
mean time that the Justices might proceed therein in the same Way as<lb></lb>
if the Lease was executed.</p>
