"Humbly Sheweth</p>
<p n="326">"That Your Worships Petitioner was appointed<lb></lb>
Keeper of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55609_geo229">Clerkenwell</rs>

Session 1783 and was then informed by the Chairman of that<lb></lb>
Honourable Court that if the Fees and perquisites belonging to<lb></lb>
that employment did not amount to the Sum of Three Hundred<lb></lb>
Pounds P Annum the deficiency should be made up to him</p>
<p n="327">"That your Worships Petitioner hath herewith<lb></lb>
delivered in the Book of his Accounts wherein it will appear<lb></lb>
that he hath received the Sum of Three hundred and Eighty two<lb></lb>
Pounds Thirteen Shillings and three pence and that he hath<lb></lb>
expended the Sum of Two Hundred and fourteen Pounds eight<lb></lb>
Shillings and ten pence whereby there is a deficiency of One<lb></lb>
hundred and thirty one pounds fifteen Shillings and seven<lb></lb>
pence to make up the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds and your<lb></lb>
Petitioner is ready to make Oath that the said Book contains a<lb></lb>
true and just account of all the Fees and perquisites received by<lb></lb>
him from the time of his appointment to the 25th. of February<lb></lb>
last within the Sum of Five Pounds</p>
<p n="328">Your Petitioner therefore Humbly<lb></lb>
Prays that Your Worships would be<lb></lb>
pleased to Grant him an Order on Your<lb></lb>
Worships Treasurer for the Payment of the<lb></lb>
said Sum of One hundred and thirty one<lb></lb>
Pounds fifteen Shillings and seven pence</p>
