<p n="205">Whereas by Virtue of an Act of Parliament made in the twelfth<lb></lb>
Year of the reign of his late Majesty King George the Second Intituled <lb></lb>
"An Act for the more easy assessing Collecting and Laying County Rates"<lb></lb>
The Justices of the peace in that part of Great Britain called <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55609_geo93">England</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55609_geo93" type="placeName" value="England"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55609_geo93" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
<lb></lb>
within the respective limits of their Commissions at their General or<lb></lb>
Quarter Sessions or the greater part of them then and there assembled<lb></lb>
having full power and authority from time to time to make one<lb></lb>
General Rate or Assessment for such Sum or Sums of Money as the<lb></lb>
Justices in their discretion shall think sufficient to answer all and<lb></lb>
every the ends and purposes mentioned in the said Act Now for as much<lb></lb>
as it appeareth unto this Court that more than three fourths of the Money<lb></lb>
of the last rate made in Session last being the last preceeding<lb></lb>
rate hath been paid and expended to answer the ends and purposes<lb></lb>
mentioned in the said Act of Parliament and that it is necessary a<lb></lb>
considerable Sum of Money should be raised and a rate made upon<lb></lb>
the Towns Parishes and Places in the said County for raising of Money<lb></lb>
to answer the several ends and purposes mentioned in the said Act of<lb></lb>
Parliament This Court upon consideration of the premises is of<lb></lb>
opinion and doth accordingly order that a General rate be made and<lb></lb>
assessed upon every Town Parish and Place in the said County for<lb></lb>
raising the Sum of Four thousand Pounds which this Court doth<lb></lb>
think necessary to be raised for the purposes aforesaid This Court<lb></lb>
by Virtue of the said Act of Parliament Doth assess upon every Town<lb></lb>
Parish and Place herein after mentioned in the respective Hundreds<lb></lb>
and Divisions in the said <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55609_geo94">County of Middlesex</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMGO55609_geo94" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
and within the<lb></lb>
Jurisdiction and authority of this Court according to the preportion<lb></lb>
they have been actually assessed towards raising of Money for the<lb></lb>
passing and relieving of Vagrants the respective Sums of Money<lb></lb>
