Petition and continue to Keep the Tap if the Rent was to be lowered<lb></lb>
to Fifteen Pounds per Annum and Mr. Harwood agreeing to<lb></lb>
continue the Tap at £15 P Annum and to withdraw the said petition<lb></lb>
Resolved that the Tap be let to Mr Harwood at the Sum of<lb></lb>

to the Prisons belonging to this County that the Proprietors said<lb></lb>
They were very ready to supply the different Goals with a greater<lb></lb>
quantity of Water provided the Magistrates would cause proper<lb></lb>
Recepticlen to be placed in the Prisons to contain a sufficiency<lb></lb>
of Water to serve them by making a Well or Tank or other proper<lb></lb>
Reservoir And the Court being of Opinion that in the present<lb></lb>
ruinous state of the Prisons it will not be proper to make any<lb></lb>
Well on Tank for that purpose Ordered that some Temporary<lb></lb>
Conveniences for the purpose of receiving a greater quantity of<lb></lb>
Water be immediately provided and placed in the Prisons</p>
