<p n="2275">Resolved that the meeting of the Chertsey Bridge Committee<lb></lb>
be postponed till further notice and that information hereof be<lb></lb>
immediately sent to the several Stembers of the said Committee<lb></lb>
also to Mr. Paine.</p>
<p n="2276">By adjournment Thursday 5th.</p>
<p n="2277">Mr. Chairman Reported that pursuant to the Resolution<lb></lb>
of His Majestys <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55607_occ941">Justices of the Peace</rs>

in General Meeting assembly<lb></lb>
on the 1st. day of November last he had waited on the Right Honorable<lb></lb>
Mr. Secretary Townshend to communicate to him the proceedings of<lb></lb>
the Justices in consequence of his Letter of the 22d. day of October 1782<lb></lb>
but not having been able to see him he had written a Letter contained<lb></lb>
the necessary information and had in return received the subsequent<lb></lb>
answer vizt.</p>

<p n="2284">Mr. Chairman further reported that in pursuance of the same<lb></lb>
Resolution he had received from his Majestys <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55607_occ944">Justices of the peace</rs>

acting in and for the several Divisions hereafter named Account<lb></lb>
of their respective proceedings and the titles of the said Returns being<lb></lb>
Read.</p>
<p n="2285">It is Ordered that the said Returns be transmitted to the<lb></lb>
Right Honourable Thomas Townshead One of His Majestys principal<lb></lb>
Secretaries of State and that the Chairman be requested to transmit<lb></lb>
the same accordingly.</p>
