<p n="2046">And the said Committee further Report that in respect<lb></lb>
to the referrence to this Committee about the Expences incurred by Virtue of the<lb></lb>
Penitentiary Act Your Committee not having had any Account yet laid<lb></lb>
before them they have not been able to proceed in the same.</p>
<p n="2047">And Lastly the said Committee Report that upon<lb></lb>
the representation of Mr. Newport the Keeper of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1778">New Prison</rs>

Repairs at their respective Prisons the Committee after view ordered the<lb></lb>
same to be done</p>

<p n="2049">A Motion was made that so much of the said Report last<lb></lb>
aforesaid be ratified and confirmed and the same being agreed to It is<lb></lb>
Ordered that so much of the said Report last aforesaid and what the<lb></lb>
Committee have done in the Premises be ratified and confirmed and the<lb></lb>
same is hereby ratified and confirmed accordingly.</p>

It being Represented unto this Court that several of the<lb></lb>

very large Pebbles being much worn are become extremely dangerous<lb></lb>
It is Ordered that it be and it is hereby referred to the Committee<lb></lb>
appointed at the Sessions of the Peace holden in and for this County in<lb></lb>
the Month Janry 1775 to oppose all Attempts in Parliament that may<lb></lb>
affect the Interests of this County in the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1784">St. James Haymarket</rs>

the Justices of their Controul which for the benefit of the Public they have<lb></lb>

Laws relative thereto and to pursue the speediest and most effectual<lb></lb>
Methods to promote and secure the Interest of the County therein and also<lb></lb>
to repave so much of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1785">the Haymarket</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1785" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
within the Jurisdiction of the of the<lb></lb>
Justices as is described on the Act of Parliament made in in the 8th. & 9th<lb></lb>
Years of the Reign of King William the third and Contract with the<lb></lb>
requisite Workmen for the performance of the same and do all other Matter<lb></lb>
and Things in the Execution thereof as shall be fit and necessary" to<lb></lb>
examine into the present general state of the pavement of the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1786">St. James's<lb></lb>
Haymarket</rs>
