if upon their coming into Prison their own<lb></lb>
Cloaths are taken from them in order to their being Smoaked and<lb></lb>
Cleaned and returned to them upon their going out of Custody and<lb></lb>
instead thereof a Clean White Woollen Jacket and Trowsers<lb></lb>
were given by the Keeper to the Men and a Jacket and petticoat<lb></lb>
to the Women which they shall be permitted to wear while they<lb></lb>
remain in Custody The Committee do recommend it to the<lb></lb>
Court that a sufficient Quantity of Woollen Stuff be provided by the<lb></lb>
respective Keepers for the making Twenty five Jackets and Trowsers<lb></lb>
and Twenty five Jackets and Petticoats for each Prison and that<lb></lb>
the Keepers do take Care to have the same properly made up by<lb></lb>
the Prisoners in their respective Custody allowing those who shall<lb></lb>
assist to make the Dresses a small pecuniary recompence or the<lb></lb>
amount thereof in Provisions And Your Committee have<lb></lb>
ordered Mr. Rogers to form a plan of a Room in which the prisoners<lb></lb>
Cloaths may be Smoaked and Boiled and a Copper and Cistern<lb></lb>
lined with lead placed therein to be Used for Washing and Warm<lb></lb>
Bathing together with an Estimate of the Expence of Executing the<lb></lb>
Same</p>
<p n="1225">All which the Committee Submit</p>
<p n="1226">It was Moved that the said Report be again Read Article by<lb></lb>
Article and the same was again Read accordingly and separate<lb></lb>
Questions being put upon the several Articles respectively and the<lb></lb>
same being agreed to It is Ordered that the said Report of<lb></lb>
the said Committee be in every part ratified and Confirmed and<lb></lb>
the same is hereby ratified and Confirmed accordingly</p>
