} Whereas by Virtue of an Act of Parliament made in the twelfth Year of the Reign<lb></lb>
of his present Majestys King George the second intituled an Act for the more<lb></lb>
easy assessing and Levying County Rates The <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55602_occ2442">Justices of the Peace</rs>

in that Part<lb></lb>
of Great Britain called <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55602_geo2986">England</rs>

within the respective Limits of their Commission<lb></lb>
at their General or Quarter Sessions or the greater Part of them then and there<lb></lb>
assembled have full Power and Authority from Time to time to make one<lb></lb>
General Rate or Assessment for such Sum or Sums of Money as the Justices<lb></lb>
in their Directions should think Sufficient to answer all and every the Ends and<lb></lb>
Purposes mentioned in the said Act, Now for as much as it appeareth unto this Court<lb></lb>

three fourths of the Money of the Last Rate made in July Sessions One thousand<lb></lb>
Seven hundred and fifty one being the last preceding Rate hath been paid and<lb></lb>
Expended to answer the Ends and Purposes mentioned in the said Act of Parliament<lb></lb>
and that it is necessary that a considerable Sum of Money should be raised and a Rate<lb></lb>
made up on the Towns Parishes and Places in the said County for raising of Moneys to<lb></lb>
answer the several ends and Purposes mentioned in the said Act of Parliament<lb></lb>
This Court upon Consideration of the Premisses is of opinion and doth<lb></lb>
accordingly Order that a General Rate be made and assessed upon every Town Parish<lb></lb>
or Place in the said County for Raising the Sum of Twelve hundred Pounds which the<lb></lb>
Court doth think necessary to be raised for the Purposes aforesaid and to the intent the<lb></lb>
Same Sum may be raised for the Purposes aforesaid This Court by Virtue of the said<lb></lb>
Act doth assess upon every Town Parish & Place herein after mentioned in the<lb></lb>
Respective hundreds and divisions in the said County of Middx and within the<lb></lb>
Jurisdiction and Authority of this Court (according to the Proportion they have<lb></lb>
