Complaint being made unto this Court by Several Master Taylors<lb></lb>
inhabiting in the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55602_geo2734">City and Liberty of Westminster</rs>

and in that part of<lb></lb>
the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55602_geo2735">County of Middlesex</rs>

which is within the Weekly Bills of Mortality<lb></lb>
that a great many Journeymen Taylors have Since the commencement<lb></lb>
of the present year 1751 exacted and insisted to leave much greater<lb></lb>
Wages for their Work in making up Mens or Womens Cloths than<lb></lb>
are settled and ascertained by an Act of Parliament made in the<lb></lb>
Seventh year of the Reign of his late Majesty King George the first<lb></lb>
Intituled An Act for regulating the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55602_occ2220">Journeyman Taylors</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55602_occ2220" type="occupation" value="Journeyman Taylors"></interp>
within the<lb></lb>
Weekly Bills of Mortality. But that the said Master Taylors in Order<lb></lb>
to prevent such executions for the future, were willing that the<lb></lb>
Journeymen Taylors should be allowed greater Wages then were<lb></lb>
settled by the said Act of Parliament, And for that purpose<lb></lb>
they now make application to this Court to alter the Wages<lb></lb>
mentioned in the said Act, And to Settle and Ascertain the Wages of the<lb></lb>
Journeymen Taylors in such Manner as the Court Shall think<lb></lb>
reasonable and Just And the said Matter now coming on to be<lb></lb>
determined at this present General Quarter Sessions of the<lb></lb>
Peace holden by adjournment as above for the said County<lb></lb>
on this Eleventh day of July instant His Majesty's Justices<lb></lb>
of the peace abovenamed now Assembled at the same session</p>
